A community in Peel was turning away over 450 kids per year due to a lack of space in youth shelters.

We launched a stakeholder engagement strategy, mobilizing government, leaders, and residents to address the issue.
Result
Within 18 months, the Regional Council of Peel committed to developing a new youth shelter, which opened six months later, significantly increasing shelter capacity.
