What’s your business, and who are your customers?
Ryelle Strategy Group is a boutique consulting firm specializing in supporting organizations in end-to-end strategy execution. We work with both the public and private sectors as well as NGOs.
Tell us about yourself.
I was a freelance consultant for 10 years before opening the firm. I spent my career in the field working with industry, government, and front-line service providers. From labour halls to emergency departments to manufacturing lines, a consistent theme became apparent: Brilliant, transformational ideas already exist within organizations. Leaders know what they want to do and need to do. They literally don’t have the hands to do it. That’s where we come in.
What’s your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Since our launch in 2017, we’ve deployed 100+ content experts internationally, engaged 100,000+ client stakeholders, and identified $100,000,000+ in economic empowerment opportunities for clients in markets around the world.
What’s one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Good question! Navigating ever-evolving markets, the feast/famine associated with being an entrepreneur!
What are the top tips you’d give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- I think it’s important to know why you want to be self-employed; that reason can keep you going during hard times.
- Collaboration makes for a much better end product – even if it means less profit in the short term.
- Hearing what clients actually want/need vs. focusing on what you want to sell them is critically important.
